497 Vice President of Fresh Seafood Sales-South East Florida
 
Our client is a successful 22 year old USA company based in South East Florida that owns fresh and frozen seafood plants in Central and South America with a proven track record of wild caught seafood sales in the USA market.
 
The company has partners on site at the plants.  The plants are HACCP compliant as well as under various third party audit programs.  The plants are capable of value added processing as well as producing very high quality round fish for sale into the USA market.
 
The company, headquartered in South East Florida, has a national presence and brand in both fresh and frozen seafood.  The company is large enough to impact the markets yet nimble enough to capture the special needs that can make or break sales. 
 
This position will report directly to ownership and is a hands on "can do" role.  The Vice President of Sales will also be directly involved with purchasing and will have influence as to what is brought in and will have direct responsibility to be sure that the "coolers are empty' when the day is done.
 
The company already has fresh logistics set as well as a current sales team of 6 sales representatives.  The Vice President will manage people, processes, and product.
 
The perfect candidate will have +5 years experience in selling fresh seafood into wholesalers, distributors, and retailers AND will have experience in managing/motivating a sales force.  Spanish speaking is a plus and experience with Net Yield is also a positive.
 
The compensation plan will come with a base salary and unlimited (including potential equity) upside.
