544 National Account Manager Retail 

Our client is an internationally based, publicly traded, 6000 employee vertically integrated seafood company that is the size of Trident Seafoods and Highliner foods combined.   Our client engages in both farming and wild caught  seafood operations in multiple oceans and hemisperes. 
They own their own processing plants.  There are seven company owned seafood-processing factories within their group.They are all state-of-the-art facilities with highly qualified teams. Each is HACCP certified and EU approved, also certified for MSC, ISO-9001 and British Retail Consortium. They strictly follow the ISO 9000, HACCP, GMP and SSOP systems in the processing of their products.

They control fishing rights to 200 square kilometers of ocean waters.   Their product line includes scallops (bay and sea, NOT twice frozen) Twice frozen CHEMICAL free haddock and cod caught on long line. Lobsters from Nova Scotia.
From the humble beginnings in 1958 as a small scallop-farming cooperative, they have grown to be a global leader in the cultivation, processing and distribution of highly certified,sustainable seafood products.  Thru consecutive acquisitions this company now encompasses a full compliment of vertical operations to service their global partners. 


Specializing in sustainable seafoods, our client has partnered with SGS & the Ocean University of China marine research department to further expand the sustainable and ecologically sound hatchery and farming technologies they already have in place. Our client strongly believes in sustainability and has also partnered with many leading non-government organizations for the continued development of Best Practices governing the cultivation and processing of seafood products.
Our client is seeking candidates for a National Account Manager who will develop retail and club store accounts in the U.S.   Candidates should have demonstrated success with development and management of retail accounts on a regional or national basis and should have demonstrated the ability to work from a remote or home based office.   Experience with solution based selling, retail product development and packaging is considered a plus.  This candidate should be capable of career advancement to a National Sales Manager or VP of Sales where they would manage additional retail sales employees.  A base salary, addtional performance based compensation, health and dental benefits will be provided.  Base Salary is negotiable based on current account relationships and industry experience 
Current product line includes Cod, Haddock, Salmon, Scallops, Squid, Lobster, Flounder, Whiting, Pollack, Tilipia, and Perch
