662 Sales Account Representative- New England

SOUTHSTREAM SEAFOODS, headquartered in Warwick, RI was founded in 1989, has earned a global reputation as a leading frozen seafood importer with a reliable supply of raw materials from both the North Atlantic and Pacific oceans. As one of the larger and more rapidly expanding seafood companies in the USA, SOUTHSTREAM is looking for a SALES ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE to identify new business opportunities, and secure business relationships with accounts leading to new revenue growth and expanded market share. Target markets include chain restaurants, retail, wholesalers and distributors as well as other secondary markets.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

As Sales Account Executive you will:

  • Identify sales targets and leads, and develop a sales funnel with an expected outcome of closing the sale and securing the targeted business opportunity
  • Develop and execute individual account sales plans to secure new customer prospects daily
  • Solicit appropriate approvals on Pricing/Margin targets across multiple disciplines
  • Utilize social media to increase sales

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Some out-of-market travel required
  • Have the ability to convince others to do things they ordinarily wouldn’t
  • Free thinking environment. Creativity encouraged
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Seafood Sales
