652 Production Manager-South East USA

Shrimp Season coming to a close.   Looking to make a Change for the Better?

A large Domestic Shrimp packer in the SE United States is looking for a Production Manager to join our team.  The company is growing and the staff will transition to a brand new, modern plant next year.  The candidate must demonstrate the experience and the ability to manage a high volume, fresh shrimp processing floor. The qualified and highly motivated candidate will enjoy a very competitive salary and benefits package.  Additionally, the company will provide incentives to attract and retain the right professional for this demanding position.  

Your qualifications:

  • Experience, direct hands on - A current production manager, with minimum five years focus  in shrimp processing,  is highly desired.  However, qualified individuals are encouraged to apply. All must have verifiable details.
  • Certification -  HAACP and working knowledge of practices to keep operations at the highest standards for the industry today.
  • Additional Requirements – Skills in plant facility, including machinery operation and maintenance are also highly desired.  Bi-Lingual ( Spanish/English )  is a benefit  and the willingness to put the time in required.
  • Non Hourly Position – Candidates should already be familiar with the time this position demands. This is not an hourly position.

Compensation:

  • Salary –   Annual salary and performance incentives will meet or better industry standards for the right candidate. Compensation for this first year and increases will scale to your ability to take the position from training to direct management of the floor operations.
  • Terms of Employment – Non Hourly Position.  Handle the work and you are permanent from day one. Training, if necessary, will be provided.
  • Other benefits - Insurance offered and paid vacation. Relocation and living expenses discussed.
