OPERATION / PRODUCTION MANAGER

Full-time

Position: Operation / Production Manager

 

GENERAL DISCRIPTION:

We are a seafood wholesaler, processor and distributor that located San Francisco Bay Area. Our 45,000 square foot seafood production facility is operate under USDC and FDA inspection along with a fleet of 8 delivery trucks. Our goal is to provide responsibly premium quality seafood source to other wholesalers, retailers as well as other clients within food and services industry.

We are seeking for an operation manager who is responsible for overseeing all aspects of seafood production. He or she will ensure the day to day operations of the warehouse to meet all requirements for optimum productivity and strong quality standard. Qualified candidates must have previous operation management experience in seafood industry.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Oversight of delivery, receiving product and managing all inventory on site.
  • Organize the workflow for staff members by preparing schedules, adjusting duties and assigning responsibilities.
  • Communicate with customer / vendor if necessary
  • Training staff members to meet production standard
  • Keep track with warehouse employee performance as well as enforcing disciplinary action
  • Coordinate with corporate office to provide production information and achieving target goals
  • Ensure safe use of equipment, leading safety meeting and adjusting processes as needed.
  • Communicate and enforce quality and production standards.

 

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

 

  • Highly organized, with the ability to lead others.
  • Must have interpersonal skills necessary to foster cooperation and to effectively communicate with others
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in operation / production management level, preferably in seafood industry
  • Experience with salmon is a plus
  • Ability to teach and implement food safety and quality standards, without jeopardizing production or safety
  • High aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting.
  • HACCP certified prefer but not requires.
  • Be able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
