689 Marketing Manager- New England

Blue Harvest Fisheries, LLC a leading Harvester, Processor and Distributor of Fresh and Frozen Seafood has an exciting career opportunity, located in New Bedford, MA for a:

Marketing Manager

In this role you will be responsible for leading the new business and profile-building of the company. You will work closely with the Leadership team and our external marketing consultant to devise and implement marketing and PR for the company. You will oversee and manage new business activity, promote company news and ensure that opportunities in the media, as well as at events and conferences are maximized, while simultaneously managing the company’s own communications channels, both digital and print.

Your accountabilities will include:

  • Corporate branding – work with the leadership team to determine the unique point of differentiation for the company and create marketing plan to communicate to external and internal constituents
  • Oversee public relations, digital and social media communications
  • Ensure our website is regularly updated
  • Oversee package design and marketing materials
  • Manage industry events including booth design
  • Assist sales in generating presentation materials

 

The Successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who is proactive, happy to work on their own initiative and possess:

  • Bachelor degree and 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably gained from working within the seafood industry or related industries
  • Excellent writing, editorial, and communications skills
  • Strong understanding of new business and marketing techniques
  • Confidence, excellent organization skills, resourcefulness, and the ability to work to a high standard
  • Up-to-the-minute knowledge of digital and social media communications
