Director of Seafood Sales,-Fresh and Frozen

Our client is a major broad-liner in the SW USA that is poised for massive growth with their fresh and frozen seafood program.  They have new, state of the art, facilities and the passion of hundreds of sales representatives ready learn and sell seafood products.

This role is a leadership role within the company and has long term career possibilities.  It comes with a solid base salary plus a 30% bonus plan.  The company offers a great benefits program including a 401(k) match. Relocation assistance is available to the right candidate

The right candidate will manage and grow the seafood program using their business acumen with regards to:

People- will manage direct reports in seafood purchasing, processing, and product development. Will also teach, train, coach, and encourage the entire sales team.

Products- will constantly seek the right mix products from the right source available at the right price.  The product mix is an important part of the growth. Will work with direct sourcing and create Exclusive Brands when possible.

Production-will create an open environment of constant process improvement and operational excellence.

Promotional activity- will actively engage with sales management to create, track and execute successfully campaigns designed to increase seafood knowledge, application, and build enthusiasm with the sales force.

Profits-will have full accountability on the financial performance of the seafood team.
