724 Director of Sales-Georgia

The companyis a rapidly growing, full-service specialty seafood and meat production/distribution company located in Atlanta, Georgia. We are searching for a Director of Sales to directly manage and grow our team of account managers. We are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic, someone who leads by example and has a desire to grow within our young organization.

 

Requirements:

-          Must have 5+ years of sales and sales management experience  

-          Must be familiar with the operations of a wholesale distribution company

-          Excellent organizational and analytical skills

-          Ability to take initiative and make fact-based decisions

-          Ability to plan and organize effectively

-          Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective business relationships both internally and externally

-          Experience selling to and building programs through national distributors and/or redistributor partners

-          Strong computer skills (specifically EXCEL, WORD, POWERPOINT)

-          Documented sales management and relationship building skills

-          Ability to set sales goals, forecast, build sales strategies and sales plans

-          Skilled at building strong, sustainable customer relationships, identify key decision-makers and operate functionally across an organization

-          Proven Business Development experience managing complex customers & delivering results

-          Strategically minded and possess the ability to translate plans into action

-          Demonstrated ability to work with teammates, both direct & indirectly to achieve goals

-          Excellent presentation skills

-          Industry knowledge

-          Financial acumen

-          Strong analytical background

 

This role will …

-          Build sales plans, set sales goals, provide monthly forecasts, and attain budgeted sales targets.

-          Support local activities to assist in building brand awareness

-          Develop and maintain good working relationships with our customers and our employees

-          Work closely with the management team to achieve the goals of the company and ensure its success by continually looking for and developing efficient policies within the sales program

-          Develop intermediate and long-term program plans

-          Interface with other departments and personnel to accomplish job functions

-          Investigate and resolve issues that relate to sales and help improve processes

-          This individual will be responsible for building relationships and brand presence within our distribution area.

-          Responsible for building our customer portfolio through targeted sales growth opportunities, working directly with our account managers, driving promotions and growing awareness at the street level

-          Coordinate new product introductions

-          Support the director of operations with monthly and annual forecasting

-          Provide leadership and direction on issues related to the maintenance and growth of sales and distribution

 

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation TBD based on experience level of the candidate
