937 Business Development Officer - Seafood Category-Miami, Hybrid, or Remote options-Blue Star Foods

Position Overview:

You will carry extensive strategic responsibilities, including shaping growth with sales & marketing team winning mindset, forging key partnership & leading market expansion efforts, while promptly monetizing your strong business relationships in the seafood category across all market segments. Your expertise in customer relationship management (CRM)systems and leveraging advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), will be vital to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leverage your existing relationships and continue to build new connections with key decision-makers, buyers, and influencers across the industry.

- Utilize CRM systems to manage accounts, track sales activities for yourself & the team, and support sales team to monetize customer interactions as well improving sales performance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Biz Intelligence staff to ensure alignment in meeting customer needs and achieving company goals.

- Prepare and present compellingproposals, business plans, and contracts.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the seafood industry.

- Strong relationships and network within the foodservice and/or retail segments.

- Proficient in using CRM systems; familiarity with AI applications in sales and marketing is a plus.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
