SUMMARY: Lee Fish USA is a premium seafood importer, bringing in daily seafood shipments from around the world to distribute throughout North America. Working from our headquarters in El Segundo, CA, the Account Manager will work with our Sales, Procurement, and Operations Team to ensure order accuracy and product availability by demonstrating a thorough knowledge of product offerings, special order parameters, and inbound and outbound logistic capabilities. Given the dynamic nature of fresh seafood, the right candidate must have strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork capabilities.

The Account Manager provides courteous customer service by email or over the phone and implements account retention and new business development strategies by extending professional and efficient service and suggesting additional services and products to meet our growing customers’ needs. The successful candidate will be highly organized, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to handle various duties under tight time frames. You must be able to meet deadlines, work independently, juggle multiple projects, and work as a team player.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides accurate and complete information on orders, order cutoffs, shipping routes, and timing of pickups and deliveries.

• Performs account maintenance, follows up on account status, and assists with the accounts receivable process.

• Provide timely resolution of customer complaints, concerns, and inquiries.

• Builds effective relationships and trust with customers by listening to their needs and educating them about the products and services that are most appropriate to their situation.

• Partners with purchasers and vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.

• Maintains sales and procurement records such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery details, product quality or performance, and inventories.

• Prepares reports and correspondence as needed.

• Gathers and compiles sales data from various sources, CRM systems, sales reporting dashboards, and pricing models.

• Provides in-depth sales performance analysis and metrics against customer performance vs. goal.

• Tracking leads and establishing cross-sell opportunities

• Establishes relationships with key customers to support sales reps with their daily functions, i.e., placing orders, communicating inventory status, providing e-mail responses, pricing, and making phone calls.

• Develop customer-specific presentation decks for sales, including the story, product offerings, pricing, availability, and programming.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least two years of customer service experience (prior food service and/or freight/logistics experience preferred).

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
